These little amazing plants are tough enough to survive in the most adverse and hard conditions on earth. Some of them produce toxic substances or fierce spines to be safe from predators; also their tissues are specialized to absorb and retain high amounts of water.
The beauty of succulents is that just when you think you've planted them every which way possible, a new way to watch them grow comes along. While planting them in unique containers or rocks aren't necessarily a new idea, stuffing them with a mishmash of vertical and draped succulents lend these classic little plants a modern twist.
